Another great week for the Yorkville group.

Every year the Yorkville group, lead by Jim Still, find a way to catch a boat load of fish. 2015 was no acceptation. The crew of 32 fishermen and women caught a total of just over 3100 fish. And as you will see from the attached pictures, they did not just catch little fish. At the end of the week meeting the group was asked to raise their hand if they had caught a fish that topped their personal best ever...half the group raised their hands. Considering that many of these guests have fish Red Lake for many years, that is an impressive stat. It also goes to show just how good this group is at catching fish. The other stat that makes me smile, is that this group spends much of their time fishing right in our bay. Yep, thats right, there is actually really nice fish right in our bay :) I say this with a smile because there are so many other groups who just refuse to spend anytime fishing close to camp. Well the "secrete" is out, sorry guys.

The biggest walleye of the week I believe was 26 1/4 inches while we are well aware by now that the biggest pike was 45 inches (x2). Poor Tyler, he catches a 44 inch monster pike and he only place 3rd for the week. Well don't feel to bad Tyler, proportionally to the fisherman, you caught the biggest fish. And you beat my best ever by 3 inches.

Thanks to the whole group for giving my family and I another great week of memories. You are already being missed.

Enjoy some more great pics of the last week...
