Happy Canada Day.

Well, with the arrival of the army worms, a mayfly hatch, and warm sunny weather, this week was not exactly what the fishermen had hoped for. The fishing did improve as the week progressed, however. Enough fish for multiple shore lunches, plenty of take home fish, and even a few trophy releases. Here are a few nice pics from this past week...with more to come.

Anyone know what causes those colors?

Hot weather, slower fishing.

Warm sunny weather in combination with a mayfly hatch, fishing has been a bit slower this week so far. Still seeing some nice fish and enough eaters for shore lunches, but not at the levels we like to see. Hopefully things pick up.

WOW what a week!

I can't give enough "thank you-s" to the Newark group and VanerRoest group for giving us such an amazing week of memories. I think we would have a great week with these people even if every single person forgot to bring their fishing poles. Unfortunately for the fish, both groups brought plenty of tackle. So, on top of great camaraderie and friendship, there was some fantastic fishing as well.
Do to the limited data that our internet service allows, I may have to wait on uploading some the photos, but I will do my best to get as many as can on here as there are MANY great ones. Thanks again to both groups and thanks for sharing your photos...enjoy....

Lets start with the VanderRoest crew...the boys brought their "A" game...

And now the Newark group...

I can not believe I never had a cheezer before!

Wow! that was one great sandwich! I would give up James Brown for another one.
