After talking with and saying goodbye to many of the groups tonight my hunch was confirmed, it was a great week of fishing! Here are a few more pics to prove it. The Christopherson group estimates they boated over 1000 fish between the 7 of them. They also wanted to say 'Hi' to Tony C.
We all hope your dog is doing better and we sure missed seeing you up here. Don't worry, there will be plenty of big fish for you next year...unless you want to squeeze in a late season trip?

The fishermen/women are faster than me!
With another full week of veteran fishermen, it is no surprise that we saw a lot of nice fish this week. We saw big sizes as well as big numbers of fish of every species. I consistently heard guys catching 30-50 walleyes per day. I believe a couple of boats even surpassed the 100 mark. The only bad part is that I have a hard time keeping up with the photos and blog. Here is a quick summary of the fish that made our fish wall along with a few pics that were submitted already. I hope to get some more updates soon.

End of a great week!
When the week seems to just fly by, you know it was a good one. With 50+ guests (most returning experienced fishermen) it was a guarantee that we would see some great fish this week. There was a few more 40inch+ pike, lots of walleyes, and quite a few lake trout.

Quick recap of last week...
Again, sorry for not posting more blogs, but things have just not slowed down around here. In fact, they have cranked up notch or two. The weather last week proved to be quite difficult for the fisherman (and camp owners who have a pile of stuff to do). The good news...the half week of rain and cool temps did wonders for the fires out west. The fire ban has been lifted and although the fire is still listed as not under control, we are no longer in any immediate danger. In fact, we had our first official camp fire last night. It was soon nice!!!
As the week progressed, so did the fishing. The last half of the week we saw big numbers of walleyes and a bunch of large pike. This week we have 50+ in camp (most returning guests) so I expect to see some really good numbers and sizes of fish in the next 7 days.
