Another great day of fishing and shore lunches. When there are so many eater sized walleyes being caught, why eat PB&J for lunch. Right?!
There were plenty of big fish caught today as well...Pike, Walleye and Trout...who wants to come fishing?

Tuesday update...
Great fishing...just not a lot of pics be shared yet. I did, however, get pictures of our 2 biggest walleyes of 2018.
Jim caught a 29 incher and Boone caught a 30 incher.
Both fish were thick and healthy and were returned back into lake. Awesome job guys!
Overall, fishing remains very good. We are still seeing 20-25 inch walleyes consistently along with plenty of eaters.
In fact, we had not 1, but 3 shore lunches today...Well, three groups doing their own lunches. One group did the traditional fish and potatoes outside (with onion rings), another group made walleye Cheezers, and the last group made their famous walleye chowder. Holy cow was it a great lunch. I enjoyed all 3 equally. Thanks boys.

week 5 start
With 3 straight days of consistent South East winds, it is no surprise to see the numbers of fish going up. We are seeing really good numbers of 14-18 inch walleyes and some fishermen are hitting schools of 20-24 inchers. The biggest this week so far is 28 inches. We have also seen a few nice pike (40in+) including a 42 incher caught off the swim dock using a fly rod! Trout fishing has been spotty due to the high winds making it tough to fish the big water, but we have seen some caught everyday.
